The average low temperature in Metro Detroit for the month was 45.2 degrees, 1.2 degrees warmer than normal, the weather service data showed. It ranks as the 49th warmest October for the area.

The highest temperature last month was 80 on October 21st. The lowest was 33 on October 27.

The average temperature was 56.5 degrees, 3.5 degrees warmer than normal, the agency said. The month was the 20th warmest October for Detroit.
