MAGA Allies Say They Can Finally Admit Project 2025 Is ‘The Agenda’ for Trump’s Second Term

MAGA allies have bragged that they can finally admit that Project 2025 is on “the agenda” when Donald Trump returns to the White House next year.

Steve Bannon, Trump’s former chief White House strategist who was released from prison just days before the election, took the stand. War room podcast on Wednesday to joke that “Project 2025 is the agenda” for the former president’s second term.

Bannon cited a social media post from conservative activist Matt Walsh, who challenged supporters of Kamala Harris on the right-wing blueprint.

“Now that the elections are over, I think we can finally say that Project 2025 is indeed the agenda. Lol,” Walsh posted on X in a likely attempt to convince his political opponents.

“Matt Walsh, I think, is a very smart and funny guy,” Bannon said on his podcast. “Now that the election is over, I think we can finally say that, yes, actually, Project 2025 is the agenda.”

“Fantastic,” Bannon laughed. “Put that everywhere.”

Other MAGA figures joined in the taunting. Bo French, the GOP chairman of Tarrant County, Texas, said in a post on X: “So can we now admit that we are going to implement Project 2025?”

The Republican, who has been under fire for homophobic comments against his political opponents, was criticized for his post.

‘Proud of lying, not even a noble lie, just an average, selfish lie. A real role model for your children,” said one.

Frans claimed it was a joke. “You prove once again that leftists have no sense of humor. How sad you are. Cry more,” he said.

He added: “The left (and some on the right) just need to remember what comedy is.”

Conservative commentator and YouTuber Benny Johnson also wrote: “It is my honor to inform you all that Project 2025 was real all along.”

His post received mixed reactions. A fellow Trump supporter said: “Stop. I warn you all, stop antagonizing them. Just stop.”

Project 2025, a 900-page plan drafted by former Trump aides and endorsed by a powerful right-wing think tank, has long been seen as a road map for Trump’s second administration.

The blueprint, led by the Heritage Foundation and more than a dozen former Trump administration officials, is essentially a wish list for the next Republican administration with plans to expand executive power, replace officials with ideologically aligned appointees, destroy abortion rights and impose an anti-Republican government. the immigration agenda, among other policies.

Harris repeatedly warned against Project 2025’s ambitions during her presidential campaign.

“Can you believe they put that thing in writing? Read it. It’s 900 pages,” she said at a meeting this summer.

Despite his clear ties to the Blueprint – whose authors come from the Trump White House and the Republican Party’s close ties to the group that launched the Blueprint – Trump repeatedly tried to distance himself from the plan during his campaign, saying he claimed he knew ‘nothing’ about the blueprint. it or ‘who is behind it’.

At a rally in Michigan, Trump told the crowd: “Some on the right, the far right, came up with this Project ’25. I don’t even know, some of them I know who they are, but they’re very, very conservative. They are more or less the opposite of the radical left.”
