'Will put you in jail': Donald Trump ally's warning to New York's Letitia James

New York Attorney General Letitia James threatened to fight newly elected President Donald Trump using the rule of law, saying her office had been preparing for months to counter Trump’s rise to power. Donald Trump’s ally Mike Davis who could become White House counsel has now issued an open threat to James, saying the Trump administration will put her “fat son of a bitch” in jail for conspiring against rights.
In a Benny Johnson podcast, he said, “I challenge you to try to continue your legal practice against President Trump in his second term… Listen here, honey, this time we’re not messing around and we’re going to get your fat a* * in prison for conspiracy against rights.”
Davis advised James to “think long and hard” before potentially violating the “constitutional rights of the President-elect or the constitutional rights of other Americans.”
James ordered Trump to pay a $454 million bond earlier this year as part of a civil fraud case and accused Trump of inflating the value of his assets to get better loans. Trump later appealed the ruling. After his election victory Tuesday, James and New York Governor Kathy Hochul vowed to fight back against any potential “retaliation” coming their way.
Addressing a news conference on Wednesday, James assured New Yorkers that her department has studied the plans of the Republican administration under Trump and is prepared to legally fight for any contingencies. “This is not the time to be afraid, New York. But faithful. And steadfast. Knowing that as Attorney General, I and my entire team are guardians of the law. And we are ready, my friends, to fight. back,” James said.

‘Dragging and burning dead political bodies of Democrats’

Mike Davis shared a violent post on November 6 saying his intention was to drag dead Democratic political bodies through the streets, burn them and then throw them off the wall. Trump has privately floated Davis’ name as attorney general, according to the Washington Post, and publicly praised Davis in October when he touted him for a top job in his second administration.
However, Mike Davis said he does not want to be White House counsel and “wants to serve as viceroy.”
