Watch Derrick Henry and Marcus Mariota’s reunion after the Ravens-Commanders game

Former Tennessee Titans teammates Derrick Henry and Marcus Mariota reunited last Sunday and NFL Films captured the moment.

NFL tweeted a clip from this week’s Inside the NFL episode of Henry excitedly running toward Mariota (after touching former Titans RB Jeremy McNichols) after last Sunday’s Ravens-Commanders game. The two hugged, as Henry shouted, “Marcus, how are you?” as he hugged his former backfield mate.

Henry beamed as the two talked about Mariota’s child: “My little man,” Mariota said.

GENTRY ESTES: What about these Tennessee Titans would scare another NFL team? Nothing so far

Mariota and Henry were teammates at Tennessee from 2016 to 2019, with the two leading the Titans to the AFC Divisional round in 2017. Mariota left the team after the 2019 season after losing the starting quarterback job to Ryan Tannehill, and he has played with the Raiders, Falcons, Eagles and Commanders since then. Henry, of course, left the Titans after last season and is starring with the Ravens in the NFL as the leading rusher through six games.

Titans fans will have some feelings about this reunion, especially considering Henry’s performance in Baltimore and the Titans’ 1-4 start. Henry and Mariota were two fan favorites from the previous era, and a reminder of what was as the current regime figures out what’s next for the franchise.
