Cook was not removed from the practice squad on Saturday and will therefore not play against the Eagles on Sunday, reports Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News.

With Ezekiel Elliott back, Dallas opted to use the practice squad on wide receiver Jalen Cropper. With Dak Prescott (hamstring) sidelined indefinitely, the offense in general could struggle, and it’s not like the veteran Cook did much in his two appearances earlier this year, with just eight carries for 20 yards in 23 offensive snaps. Cook could be elevated to the active roster at some point in the season.
