Eagles superstar Jalen Hurts makes history with victory over Cowboys

Don’t look now, but the Philadelphia Eagles are one of the hottest teams in football.

Philadelphia was eliminated earlier this year when it was tied 2-2 and struggling with injuries. The Eagles are in a much better spot right now, and it has been showing on the field since Week 5. Philadelphia hasn’t lost since the bye week and is now 7-2 after convincingly beating the rival Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.

Philadelphia won 34-6 against one of its biggest rivals and was even able to rest some of the team’s biggest stars, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, near the end of the game. That should come in handy as the Eagles play another tough rivalry game against the second-place Washington Commanders on Thursday.

Things are looking good for the Eagles, and Hurts’ play is a big reason why. He suffered from costly turnovers early on, but he took better care of the ball and was great. After beating Dallas, Hurts currently has 1,976 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, five interceptions and has completed 69.8 percent of his passes. He also has 378 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns.

Hurts was great and even made a little history on Sunday. According to Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports, he became the first quarterback with a passing touchdown, a rushing touchdown and a 100-plus passer rating in four consecutive games.

“Jalen Hurts is the first QB in #NFL history with a passing TD, rushing TD and 100+ passer rating in 4 straight games,” Kerr said.

Things are clearly looking good for the Eagles, and Hurts can take the team far.
