You may not know it, but Wendy’s has deep military roots, aside from the annual military discount on Veterans Day.

Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Army at the start of the Korean War and attended the service’s Cook and Bakers School at Ft. Benning, Georgia. Thomas was eventually sent to West Germany, where he was responsible for feeding as many as 2,000 fellow American service members a day, “where he honed his skills and built a mastery of daily operations that would serve him well in his future restaurant career. ,” the company said.

In honor of Veterans Day, Wendy’s is once again paying tribute not only to its founder, but to all U.S. military personnel and veterans with a special military discount.

Details of Wendy’s Veterans Day Offer

On November 11, 2024, Wendy’s will offer a free breakfast combo to U.S. military personnel or veterans at participating locations throughout the United States during breakfast hours (usually before 10:30 AM, but this will vary depending on location).

The breakfast combo includes all drinks, breakfast sandwiches and seasoned potatoes and cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. This offer is not valid on digital, delivery or kiosk orders.

Veterans Day isn’t the only time Wendy’s offers deals to service members and veterans.
