Tulsa City Hall and facilities will close for Veterans Day, but essential services will continue

On Monday, Tulsa City Hall and facilities will be closed for Veterans Day.

Public safety and mission-critical operations will continue as normal.

If you need water or sewer assistance, please call the 24-hour emergency numbers: water – (918) 596-9488 and sewer – (918) 586-6999.

  • Residential waste, recycling and garden waste collections The bulky waste will function normally again on Monday, November 11. However, bulky waste will not be collected on Monday, November 11, but collection will resume from Tuesday, November 12.
  • The city of Tulsa mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. is also closed on Monday, November 11. It will reopen on Tuesday, November 12, and resume its normal schedule Sunday through Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed on Wednesdays and open again Thursday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • City of Tulsa Animal services at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be open on Monday, November 11, according to normal opening hours from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The animal shelter is open daily from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and is closed every second Wednesday of the month.
  • Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed on Monday, November 11, although Tulsa Parks outdoor facilities will be accessible as usual. Mohawk Park and Page Belcher Golf Courses, as well as the Tulsa Zoo, opened on Monday, November 11. The Oxley Nature Visitor Center is closed on Mondays, but the Oxley Nature Center trails are open.
  • MetroLink Tulsa will offer its regular bus services on Monday, November 11. The attendant stations at Midtown Memorial and Denver Avenue Station are closed. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, November 12.
