This summer, My Chemical Romance takes fans back to 2006.

On November 12, the rock band consisting of Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Mikey Way announced that they will perform their 2006 rock opera concept album in its entirety on a 10-city tour of North American stadiums in the summer of 2025.

My Chemical Romance kicks off on July 11 at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park and will perform shows in cities including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Boston and more before wrapping up on September 13 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Special guests hand-selected by the band for the tour include Violent Femmes, 100 Gecs, Wallows (featuring actor Dylan Minnette), Garbage, Death Cab for Cutie, Thursday, Alice Cooper, Pixies, Devo, Idles and Evanescence. There will be one act at My Chemical Romance every evening.

Tickets go on sale on November 15 at 10am local time and more information is available on the “Helena” group’s website.

My Chemical Romance previously performed the Black parade album in full at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas last month.

The band began teasing news on November 11, sparking excitement among fans online. “I’m running to see why My Chemical Romance is popular… 20 years later and I’m still not doing well,” wrote one X user (formerly Twitter).

“mcr saw the election results and knew something had to be done to save the girls and the gays,” said another fan.

Following the tour announcement, some fans reminisced about their old fandom. “My chemical romance won’t end until they kill all the millennials with this tour,” one social media user wrote.

“2025 is the year of my chemical romance where I do whatever they want regardless of how they are perceived and it feels good,” wrote another.

One particular MCR listener got particularly nostalgic, writing, “My Chemical Romance is on tour, Vans Warped Tour is back, Hot Topic is selling Tripp pants again… we’ll be right back.”
