Mike Tyson is hyping his upcoming fight with Jake Paul ahead of Friday’s event at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“This is the biggest fight in the history of life. There has never been a fight this big,” Tyson told TMZ Sports on Tuesday.

When asked for a round prediction, Tyson replied, “Well, I’m not a psychic, but he’s going to sleep.”

The upcoming fight will mark Tyson’s first professionally sanctioned bout since 2005.

Tyson, 58, is a former world heavyweight champion who enters the fight with a record of 50-6 (44 knockouts). He last saw action in 2020 with an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr.

Paul, a 27-year-old former YouTuber who started his professional boxing career in 2018, enters the fight with a record of 10-1 (seven knockouts). He has won four fights in a row, most recently scoring a sixth-round TKO victory over Mike Perry in July.

The two were initially scheduled to meet in July before the fight was postponed after Tyson suffered a flare-up of a stomach ulcer.

“Forget that, I’m good now… there’s nothing that’s going to stop me from beating Jake Paul,” Tyson said when asked by TMZ Sports about his past health issues.

Tyson confirmed he had lost about 20 pounds when dealing with the health problem, but said he had “gained it all back.”

Netflix has previewed the upcoming battle with Countdown: Paul vs. Tysona documentary series about Paul and Tyson’s training for the fight.

The event, which will take place Friday at 8 PM ET, will be streamed on Netflix. The fight card is completed by Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano for the women’s super lightweight title, Mario “El Azteca” Barrios vs. Abel Ramos for the welterweight title and Neeraj Goyat vs. Whindersson Nunes in a super middleweight bout.
