Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, which kicked off on March 17, 2023, arrives in Toronto on Thursday for six sold-out shows and ends in early December after three performances in Vancouver.

About 60,000 ticket holders will gather at the Toronto stadium for each show from November 14 to 23, while thousands more Swifties are expected to attend the pre-show event called Taylgate ’24 at the nearby Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

With opening night just around the corner, check out the build-up in Toronto, from the “Taylor Swift Way” signs around the city to the merchandise lineups to the hundreds of thousands of fans heading downtown and more.

November 12: Concert merchandise up for grabs

Tour merchandise went on sale Tuesday morning at Rogers Center. It is the only location in Toronto that sells official tour merchandise. Here fans are queuing outside the stadium.

November 4: Toronto temporarily renames streets

A main thoroughfare through downtown Toronto got a temporary makeover in honor of Swift ahead of her six concerts in the city — and to raise money to help people facing food insecurity.

Signs named Taylor Swift Way mark the route from Rogers Center — where Swift will perform — to Nathan Phillips Square, where City Hall is located, for the month of November.

In total there are 22 signs along Queen Street West, John Street, Front Street and Blue Jays Way.
