    The time has finally come.

    Mike Tyson and Jake Paul face off in a sanctioned boxing match Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Although the 58-year-old Tyson, one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, has come a long way from his days of destroying opponents in the first round, his reputation as “Iron Mike” precedes him. Paul, 27, has turned himself from a YouTube celebrity into a legitimate boxer, although the majority of his victories have come in sanctioned fights against mixed martial artists.

    While they couldn’t have gotten to this fight through a clearer path, both boxers have one thing in common: they know how to promote a fight. Here’s a look back at some of the best trash talk ahead of the main event.

    March 7: It’s official

    Now that the long-rumored fight was officially announced, Paul started to stir things up by pumping himself up. Later that day, he revealed that the first time Iron Mike met Tyson, he called him by his brother’s name.

    A week after the announcement, Paul reminisced about how happy he was when he heard Mike Tyson say his name. Tyson, for his part, went semi-viral by simply posting a video of his terrifying speed and power.

    This may be the most memorable quote to come out of the promotion of this fight to date.
