Charli XCX performed songs from her Grammy nominee Brat album to Saturday evening live on November 16.

The 32-year-old British pop star served dual roles as host and musical guest on the iconic NBC sketch comedy show. In between jokes in the skits, Charli delivered electrifying renditions of “360” and “Sympathy Is a Knife,” both from her sixth album, Brat. The set debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in June to widespread acclaim, including a Grammy nomination for album of the year.

Charli’s first performance opened with a surprise introduction of Uncut gemstones star Julia Fox, which set the stage for the artist’s minimalist performance of “360.” Dressed in dark sunglasses, a black Lou Reed T-shirt, a white skirt, knee-high boots and a matching black bag, Charli sashed against a lime green background reminiscent of her. Brat album cover. “360” also earned Grammy nominations for record of the year and best music video, with Fox appearing in a star-studded lineup of cameos.

For her second appearance, Charli was introduced by SNL cast member Bowen Yang (who wore a Vroom Vroom shirt), before launching into an energetic rendition of “Sympathy Is a Knife.” Charli, dressed all in black, sang solo and danced in front of a giant white screen with the words “Party” and “Girl” scrawled in bold letters on the floor.

This marks Charli’s third appearance SNLfollowing her previous musical guest roles in 2014 and 2022.

Her latest SNL performance comes just after wrapping up her Sweat tour with Troye Sivan. According to figures from Billboard Boxscore, the 22-show series grossed $28 million and sold 297,000 tickets.
