Chargers make roster moves in final second before Week 11 vs. Bengals

The Los Angeles Chargers made a few minor roster moves ahead of the Week 11 primetime matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

There, the team elevated cornerback Eli Apple and linebacker Caleb Murphy to the active roster for the Sunday night football competition. As a standard raise, the two will return to the practice squad the day after the game.

While the Chargers defense is banking on cornerback Kristian Fulton being back after battling a hamstring injury, Deane Leonard is questionable on the final injury report due to a hamstring issue of his own.

It’s clear that the Jesse Minter-coordinated defense will want as much help as it can get in a matchup against Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

After all, Apple also stood in line against those guys in Cincinnati during training for a few years.
