Jennifer Lopez will have his jaws on the ground.

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer stepped out for the Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Nov. 17, and her red carpet look certainly earned some double takes.

For the big evening of entertainment, Jennifer chose to wear a partially sheer dress with special beading and a flowing black train. To complete her ensemble, the 55-year-old carried a dark metal clutch, keeping her hair in a sleek center part as she smiled for the cameras.

Of course, Jennifer’s striking outfit won’t be the only moment worth celebrating during the evening.

Ovation Hollywood’s Ray Dolby Ballroom will see some of the industry’s biggest stars pay a well-deserved tribute to some entertainment legends. The late producer Quincy Jones and casting director Julia Taylor will earn honorary awards for their contributions to music and film respectively. Meanwhile writer and director Richard Curtis will receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic work as co-founder of the British charity Comic Relief.
