NFL Week 11 Preview, Score Predictions

The Kansas City Chiefs have posted nine straight wins to start the year, already building a lead over the rest of the AFC. They’ll need all that advantage on Sunday, though, as the Buffalo Bills could pose the biggest threat the reigning Super Bowl champions have faced. It’s an afternoon matchup in Orchard Park, where two of the game’s best quarterbacks face off again.

How will the game unfold? The Kansas City Chiefs on SI crew makes its predictions for week 11 of the 2024-2025 campaign.

Joshua Brisco: Toss a coin. With the Bills favored and KC on the road, the Chiefs should be in line to take their first loss of 2024. Both teams are missing key starters on both sides of the ball, Josh Allen is playing at a tremendously high level, and this game means something more to Buffalo. Still, it’s tough to match up against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs defense in a rivalry rematch. Even with a completely unknown kicker, I expect this game to come down to a field goal.

Prediction: Chiefs 23, Bills 20

Jordan Foote: After going back and forth with this game all week, I’m sticking with the last call I made in the Kansas City Chiefs on SI Preview of Week 11. Buffalo, like the Chiefs, is injured, but there are a few things working in their favor. Being at home is one thing, this being a regular season game is another and you could argue they need this win more than Kansas City. Expect another close game that could really go either way; we are spoiled that this match is on the docket. Good defense from Steve Spagnuolo ultimately gets bitten by the explosive play in this one, and the Chiefs offense falls just now short because of the inability to make those chunks.

Prediction: Bills 27, Chiefs 23

Zack Eisen: In what many are calling “the game of the season,” the Chiefs travel to Buffalo to take on a familiar foe. Kansas City is the underdog again, just like it was in January when these teams faced each other in the playoffs. That would be a win for the Chiefs essentially locks up the lone seed in the AFC with seven weeks to play. The Chiefs offense gets going again by attacking the Bills’ zone coverage and aiming multiple explosives at Xavier Worthy. Kansas City’s defense is allowed to play with an edge, resulting in newly added Joshua Uche’s first sack to the team. The Chiefs remain undefeated and are ramping up the undefeated talk.

Prediction: Chiefs 28, Bills 20

Mark Van Sikkel: This should be another instant classic between the Chiefs and Bills today. Both teams are pretty banged up, so it might not be as high-scoring as some might expect, but it should still be a fun match to watch. This was the game I had circled on my calendar as the Chiefs’ first loss of the season, and while that would have me rooting for the Bills, it would be foolish to pick Mahomes as the underdog. GIVE ME THE CHIEF!

Prediction: Chiefs 24, Bills 20
