This time the National Weather Service has a Wind advice in effect from Tuesday 2 p.m. to Wednesday 4 a.m. That’s just part of a wave of stormy weather heading toward the state – look at all the different warning colors – 13! – on the NWS map with this story. For details, the warning suggests we can expect “east to southeasterly winds of 30 to 50 km/h, with gusts up to 80 km/h.” The NWS also notes, “Significant impacts may occur with lower than normal wind speeds due to the atypical easterly wind direction.” (South/southwest is more common.)
