    NBA championship-winning coach praises JJ Redick’s offense

    But so far this season has been a different story. They are off to a 9-4 start and are currently on a five-game winning streak, and through Sunday they rank eighth in points per game, seventh in field goal percentage, sixth in fast-break points and points in the paint per game. game and fifth in offensive rating. New head coach JJ Redick’s offense is far more complicated and imaginative, not to mention more organized, than the Lakers’ offense under his predecessor Darvin Ham.

    The team defeated the Phoenix Suns in their second game of the season, giving Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer a good look at what has changed for LA this year. Budenholzer credited Redick for what he brought to the Purple and Gold.
