We’ve been looking forward to this, as Vegas hosted one of the most exciting races last year, with plenty of daring overtakes on the tight, concrete-walled corners. The nighttime desert environment is the coldest event on the calendar, making grip a serious issue on Sin City’s slippery street circuit. Russell starts on pole, but all eyes will be on Verstappen as he could win the title tonight. So let us show you everything you need to know about where to watch a free Las Vegas F1 live stream, no matter where you are in the world.

As also detailed in our free full-season F1 live stream guide, we can help you watch every race this season through similar options to today’s. And if the free live streams aren’t for you, we highly recommend the super-extensive highlights show from Britain, which replays almost the entire race – we’ve dedicated a section to this later in this article.

The Las Vegas GP is streamed for free in some countries, and that’s where we come in, as we can show you how to bypass geo-restrictions that prevent viewers from watching outside the broadcaster’s base country. We’ll go into more detail below, but if you want to join from abroad you’ll need a VPN to spoof the location of your viewing device to match the broadcast. It’s super easy to get started, and you’ll succeed use the same method to watch each race this seasonalong with even more streaming options such as the events below:

The easiest option for a free live stream of the Las Vegas GP this weekend is to use a VPN to tune into one of the free streams mentioned above. If you miss the live race, the extended highlights show from Britain we mentioned is a great alternative and comes with full English commentary.

Our preferred option among the best VPN providers is ExpressVPN, with a 30 day money back guarantee if you are dissatisfied. Better yet, you can get an extra three months for free and save 49% on a subscription. To learn more about the security app, check out our ExpressVPN review.

We’ve been using these free F1 live streams all season (and last season) and today double-checked VPN compatibility with each channel’s programming schedule to ensure the race goes ahead. These channels offer every race except the Austrian option, as races alternate between ORF1 and Servus TV every weekend – ORF1 has the free Las Vegas F1 live stream.

Will there be extended Las Vegas F1 highlights later?

In the UK, Channel 4 has expanded highlights just hours after the race on Sunday 24 November at 7.30am ET / 12.30pm GMT / 1.30pm CET / 8.30pm AWST.

While this highlights show usually features many pre- and post-race discussions and interviews, a large portion of the running time is usually devoted to the race itself. For example, the first week’s live race was about 92 minutes, and I timed the highlights portion of the show at 72 minutes. This week’s highlights show is two and a half hours, so I expect you’ll see a huge amount of time spent on the race.

Overall, it’s still my favorite viewing option at the moment compared to signing up for a subscription service or watching without English commentary.

You can also watch these highlights on-demand the next day. That said, we sometimes find that this version is a bit shorter than the usual highlights program.

You can tune in online at the Channel 4 website and use a VPN as described above to watch from outside the UK.

If you really want to see everything livea Sky Sports deal is the way to go, and this is also a great way to get it in glorious 4K. Sky covers every race weekend, so you don’t have to switch between Sky and networks like TNT like you do with the Premier League.

If you don’t want a traditional TV contract and prefer a monthly option that you can drop in whenever you like, Sky’s Now TV offshoot has a Sky Sports tier that costs £11.99 for a day pass, or £34 .99 per month.

The main appeal of Now TV is that it has a rolling one-month contract, but if you need it every week then getting a good Sky Sports package might be a better deal as you get a lot more value get for your money. Plus, Now TV still operates in the dark ages and has the nerve to charge extra for HD in 2024.
