Krispy Kreme Reveals 3 ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’ Donuts

Krispy Kreme’s sweet holiday offerings make it hard to be a Grinch this holiday season.

The bakery chain offers three new ones How the Grinch Stole Christmas! –themed donuts and two returning Christmas treats starting Friday, November 29.

The donuts in the Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection are each inspired by a different character from the iconic Dr. Seuss Story: Grinch Donut, Grinchy Claus Donut and Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Donut.

The titular donut fills an unglazed donut with “coal”-style cookie and cream filling. It’s dipped in Grinch green icing with a shiny grin, tuft of hair and the classic yellow eyes.

The Grinchy Claus Donut is an original glazed donut dipped in chocolate glaze. There is a swirl of buttercream, red, green and white sprinkles and a Grinch decoration on top of each donut.

The Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Donut is different from the other two in the collection because it has none of the features of the Grinch. An original glazed donut is dipped in strawberry glaze and decorated with a green buttercream tree, sprinkle decorations and a gold star on top.

Each box of the Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection also comes with the Santa Belly Donut and Holiday Sprinkle Donut – two fan-favorite treats.

The Santa Belly Donut is an unglazed donut filled with white cream, dipped in red icing and decorated with a icing band. Fans who prefer a glazed donut can opt for the Holiday Sprinkle Donut, which is dipped in chocolate icing and holiday sprinkles.

Dairy Queen will have its own holiday-inspired sweets next week.

The ice cream chain is bringing back two beloved winter-inspired treats on November 25: the Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard Treat and Frozen Hot Chocolate.

The Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard Treat is the snowstorm of the month of December. The dessert combines candy cane pieces, chocolate chips and chocolate fudge with soft serve before being topped with whipped cream and candy cane sprinkles.

The Frozen Hot Chocolate combines chocolate fudge, vanilla soft serve and Dairy Queen’s Misty Slush. The treat is decorated with a whipped topping and chocolate drizzle.
