Batman: Arkham Origins is criminally underrated, and while I’d love nothing more than to ramble on for hours about why it’s better than some say, that’s unfortunately a job for another time.

But if you’re one of the fans who knows firsthand how good this is Batman: Arkham Asylum prequel is basically that you’ll be happy to know that you can experience it again in a whole new way.

Batman: Arkham Origins is an origin story of sorts for our Dark Knight, I say a little because he has been Batman for about two years, and while he has managed to strike fear into the hearts of criminals, he is not the symbol of justice, he is needs are.

Just like every other Arkham game, Bruce goes through hell, and it’s been made even harder for our caped crusader by the new Vengeance Overhaul mod.

Created by GPUnity and perfectly showcased via a recent YouTube video in which the Vengeance Overhaul mod makes several changes Arkham origin to create a more challenging experience.

Enemies and bosses have been reworked for more combat, which makes the new permadeath mode all the more exciting. Batman may be a master fighter, but his enemies can still get the better of him from time to time, meaning any mistake in this new mode could be your last.

However, the best change in my opinion is the faster gliding, as well as the traversing Batman: Arkham Origins is honestly my biggest problem with the game and I think many will agree with me on that.

Vengeance Overhaul completely changes the game, and while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I think the hardcore fans will get a serious kick out of the increased challenge, and it’s free on NexusMods, so what’s the harm in trying it?
