(ABC 6 News) — The Disney classic Mary Poppins turns 60, and Wednesday night ABC will present a special edition of 20/20 about the film.

Mary Poppins, starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, is about a special nanny who helps a dysfunctional family in her own magical way.

Since its release in 1964, several generations have had flying kits, spoons of sugar and dancing penguins in their lives.

The film will also air on ABC on Thursday evenings at 7pm
