The Seattle Seahawks are owned by the Los Angeles Rams led by Sean McVay. Since becoming Rams head coach in 2017, McVay is 10-5 and two of those losses came with John Wolford and Baker Mayfield at quarterback. The Rams haven’t trailed by more than 13 points in any of these games and have generally had their way with Seattle’s defense.

On paper this seems like a mismatch. The Rams are getting healthier and better than their 3-4 record indicates. Seattle’s defense doesn’t look good and the offense without DK Metcalf is extremely limited in terms of explosiveness. The running game barely exists. But maybe, just maybe, the Seahawks will show us something closer to the Atlanta Falcons game and pull off an upset. They will need the win or they will be in last place in the NFC West entering the bye week. If they win, they might be in first place depending on what happens with the Arizona Cardinals versus the Chicago Bears.
