Monday is Veterans Day. Each of us knows someone who has served or is serving in our armed forces.

According to Military.com, there are several ways to recognize those who have given of themselves to keep us safe and able to live our lives the way we want to.

They include:

• Just say ‘thank you’. Ask them about their service.
