2026 5-star WR Tristen Keys visits Texas A&M this weekend

Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class will get another chance to expand this weekend during the Aggies’ Week 12 home game against New Mexico State. This week it was announced that one of the elite prospects in the 2026 cycle will be coming to College Station for the second time this season.

According to Landyn Rosow of Rivals, 2026 5-star wide receiver Tristen Keys will return to College Station for his second unofficial visit since his first visit during the Aggie’s thrilling 38-23 win over LSU, which immediately resulted in them nabbing four commitments in the 2026 cycle, just a day after the match.

Keys, a Mississippi State native, needs to land an elite wide receiver to match the emerging talent on defense. He’s drawing strong interest from every blue-blood program in the country and is a favorite to land at Tennessee after back-to-back visits. However, the Aggies are clearly in the game.

After his last visit during the LSU win, Keys reflected on his time in Aggieland with Gigem247’s Andrew Hattersley:

“They left a good impression. I had fun. It was great. The coaches were great. I had a good conversation with them. We talked a little bit about what they’re doing with the program and they’re doing a good job,” Keys said. “They are having a winning season this year. Coach (Holmon) Wiggins is doing a great job. He has a great background in drafting top receivers, which makes for a good coach. That is a good coach to be coached by if you want to reach a higher level.”

According to 247Sports, Keys is currently positioned as the fourth-ranked prospect in the class of 2026, the No. 1-ranked wide receiver and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Mississippi.

No. 15 Texas A&M will host New Mexico State on Saturday, November 16. The game will air on SEC Network at 6:45 PM CT.
