    San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk left Sunday’s game with a knee injury and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

    Aiyuk visited the medical tent before ultimately being carted off the field during the first half of the team’s Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

    Aiyuk is now taken off the field.

    Before leaving, Aiyuk had made two catches for 23 yards.

    As he was being led away, Aiyuk pointed to his right knee as he communicated with San Francisco medical staff.

    Aiyuk has 23 catches for 351 yards so far in 2024 and is a key part of the 49ers offense. Losing him would be a major blow to a team that is currently 3-3 and hoping to return to the Super Bowl.

    The 49ers trailed 14-3 when Aiyuk left and would kick a field goal before the end of the first half. With Aiyuk out, San Francisco will look to Deebo Samuel, Ricky Pearsall, Chris Conley and Ronnie Bell to pick up the slack.

    However, Samuel is in doubt due to an illness.
