49ers injury news immediately after win over Seahawks

While the San Francisco 49ers secured a much-needed victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, the injury bug continued to roll around Seattle on Thursday.

Several players, including breakout running back Jordan Mason and rookie defensive back Malik Mustapha, left Thursday night’s game against the Seahawks.

After the game, Kyle Shanahan gave some injury updates on some players who missed time against the Seahawks. Jordan Mason suffered a shoulder injury. He did return after leaving the match, but only played once in the second half. Shanahan told reporters that Mason could play again if necessary.

Starting guard Aaron Banks dealt with cramps against the Seahawks. New kicker Matthew Wright suffered a shoulder injury.

After securing the first interception of his career, 49ers rookie safety Malik Mustapha was ruled out for the remainder of the game. After the match, Shanahan revealed that Mustapha had suffered a low ankle sprain.
