49ers’ Nick Bosa reacts to endorsing Donald Trump during a live TV interview

San Francisco 49ers star pass rusher Nick Bosa made headlines Sunday night. After the 49ers defeated the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 30-24, NBC interviewed some of his teammates for their performance in the game.

Quarterback Brock Purdy, tight end George Kittle and running back Isaac Guerendo were on screen when Bosa appeared in the background. He then showed off his hat that read “Make America Great Again.”

His teammates seemed a little shocked by the decision, but continued with the interview.

After the match, Bosa was asked about the statement he tried to make while wearing the hat. He didn’t elaborate too much, but he did comment on the issue.

“I’m not going to talk about it too much,” Bosa said, “but I think it’s an important time.”

Bosa has long been a supporter of former President Donald Trump, but has toned things down, especially on social media. Bosa was drafted by the 49ers and understood that he might have to cool the situation with his rhetoric.

“I had to,” Bosa told ESPN in 2019. “There’s a chance I’ll end up in San Francisco.”

The 2024 presidential election is just over a week away and the 49ers don’t have a game until after it’s over. Bosa showed support for his candidate and sent a message after the big victory.

The veteran pass rusher has been one of the better defenders in the NFL since being picked by the No. 2 overall pick of the 49ers in 2019. He has helped San Francisco reach the Super Bowl twice while winning multiple individual awards.

This includes winning the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2022 and leading the league with 18.5 sacks. He has scared opponents every time he has taken the field and has been big for the 49ers and the win over the Cowboys.

San Francisco now has a 4-4 record on the season after a rough start to the year. They have had to deal with several key injuries throughout the season and that has caused problems on the pitch.

Despite this, the 49ers are tied for the lead in the NFC East division. It’s been a challenging year for San Francisco, but they are in the thick of the playoff hunt.

San Francisco’s next game is on November 10 when they travel to take on the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay.
