I know this is going to be a weekly story, but the numbers are just plain insane. Ten different players caught a pass in the 47-10 victory; what makes it even more impressive is that Allen had “only” 23 completions. That means that one out of every 2.3 completions went to a different target. If you think that’s impressive, consider that six different Bills players scored touchdowns. James Cook and Ray Davis ran for scores while Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, Keon Coleman and Ty Johnson all caught touchdowns from Allen.

The Bills have a pair of legitimate No. 1 corners in Rasul Douglas and Christian Benford. For this one, we’ll focus on Benford. The former sixth-round pick has allowed 26 yards on 13 targets this season. Of those 13 targets, he has allowed five receptions for 5.2 yards per catch. That 5.2 yards per reception is second-best in the NFL. His 26 yards allowed is also second-best among corners to play 50% of their team’s snaps. His 38.5% of receptions allowed drops all the way to fourth-best in the league.

I enjoy the back and forth about who is the better quarterback, Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson? Jackson will most likely end up with more career rushing yards, but that is the only statistic he will beat Allen on, and last night was proof of that. The Wyoming product had four touchdown passes in the first half and could have thrown more if Sean McDermott had wanted him to, but that’s not the fun part about this statistic. Allen’s four touchdown passes in two quarters is more than Lamar Jackson (three) has had all season. Both are great players and two of the most fun to watch in the league, but one is better, despite the oddball votes from those on the MVP ballot.
