The Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks have byes this week, meaning fantasy owners with tight ends like Brock Bowers, David Njoku and Tucker Kraft will have to look elsewhere for production.

The tight end position delivered a historic performance on “National Tight Ends Day” just two weeks ago, but they came back down to earth in Week 9. Fantasy players are hoping their tight end will emulate the success of Week 8 in Week 10 .

Fantasy teams are constantly faced with tough starting-sit decisions because of their tight ends. Week 10 offers another opportunity for your team to make a statement and push for the playoffs.

Here’s a look at who to start with and who to sit with at the end in Week 10 of the fantasy football season.

Fantasy football starts them: Week 10 TEs

Mark Andrews, Ravens (vs. Bengals)

Let’s start with “Thursday Night Football” in Week 10. Fantasy owners likely drafted Mark Andrews in the early rounds and are disappointed with his production. Those same owners have looked for other options at tight end, but this week Andrews starts. The Ravens host the Bengals in Week 10 and Andrews’ role on offense has stabilized over the past month.

Cincinnati has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends and is tied for the second-most touchdowns allowed for the position. Andrews broke out of his early-season slump in Week 5 when the Ravens played the Bengals. Last week, the Ravens made quick work of the Broncos in a blowout, and the flow of the game was not in the veteran tight end’s favor. According to FTN, the Bengals rank 25th in overall defensive DVOA. In the past, Andrews has lit up the Cincy defense by scoring a touchdown and finishing with at least 50 yards rushing in three of the last five matchups.

Dalton Kincaid, Bills (vs. Colts)

The Bills’ second-year tight end hasn’t delivered the elite production fantasy the owners who drafted him in 2024 were hoping for. He only finished in the top 10 as a tight end twice through the first nine games of the season. However, Buffalo will travel to Indy to play the Colts in Week 10, and the matchup is juicy. Gus Bradley’s defense is always vulnerable in the middle, shallow areas of the field. Indy has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends. They are tied with the Chiefs for the most receptions allowed for the position.

Keon Coleman and Amari Cooper are dealing with wrist injuries and could be out or limited. Khalil Shakir is a regular target, but Kincaid is quietly climbing the target list in Buffalo. He led the team against Miami last week with ten goals. Kincaid will have the opportunity to put up his best numbers of the season on Sunday.

TJ Hockenson, Vikings (vs. Jaguars)

The Vikings go on the road in Week 10 against the reeling Jaguars. On “Sunday Night Football” last week, Minnesota regained its star tight end for the first time in 2024. If you select Hockenson, you should start him this week against the Jaguars.

The 27-year-old tight end was having a career-best season before his injury last season. Despite reports that he would go all out on his return, Josh Oliver outsmarted him. Hockenson’s workload should increase weekly, and the game against Jacksonville is too good to ignore. The Jags have allowed the seventh-most points per game to tight ends. Fantasy owners likely drafted or picked up Hockenson on waivers in hopes of landing a top-10 player at the position; he will make that happen from next Sunday.

Kyle Pitts, Falcons (vs. Saints)

Some fantasy football owners are looking for reasons to give up Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, and his lone catch, 11-yard showing in Week 9 could be the reason. However, he currently sits in seventh place overall through the first nine weeks, and the addition of Kirk Cousins under center has propelled Pitts forward most weeks.

Drake London was injured last week and could be limited in Week 10. Atlanta will battle the Saints, who allowed multiple splash plays to Panthers rookie tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders last Sunday and allowed the ninth-most yards to the position this season. In Week 4, Pitts posted a clean sheet against the Saints, but was banking on a rebound after finishing with double-digit fantasy points in four straight games before his Week 9 dud.

Fantasy football sit ’em: Week 10 TEs

Zach Ertz, Commanders (vs. Steelers)

The Washington Commanders will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10. Veteran tight end Ertz is coming off his worst performance of the season. He saw his snap share dip below 50% for the first time this season, while rookie Ben Sinnott is seeing more and more playing time.

The Steelers pass defense has been strong and has allowed the seventh fewest receiving yards to reach the tight ends. With TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith screaming around the edge, Ertz may get more pass blocking help than usual. Is Ertz on Sunday.

Hunter Henry, Patriots (vs. Bears)

The New England Patriots meet the Chicago Bears on the road in Week 10. The veteran tight end has been a solid streaming option this season, but he should remain on the bench this week. Patriots No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye has been impressive in his first three healthy NFL starts. You may feel confident that you can safely and confidently put Henry back into the lineup this week, but he’s not in a good position.

Henry is New England’s leading receiver and has run the most routes for the team this season, but the Patriots’ offensive line will once again be a problem down the road. In Week 9, the Titans recorded 29 pressures on Maye, more than doubling their record of 13 from the previous season. The Bears’ pass defense was strong. Chicago has a fast defense, headlined by Tremaine Edmunds at linebacker. Is Henry sitting this week.
