    The following year, the couple was spotted together in New York City’s SoHo, where Kendrick appeared to be wearing an engagement ring.

    Jake Gyllenhaal (2013)

Before working together, Kendrick was already a fan of the director, she revealed in an Vanity fair video interview in 2023.
