A freeze warning has been issued for parts of Northern California

Temperatures in Northern California on Monday will be cooler than during the season, while snowy conditions will still be present at higher elevations. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said Monday’s forecast for downtown Sacramento is 59 degrees, down from the 63 degrees recorded Sunday. The average for this time of year is 64 degrees. Projected high temperatures for the Foothills are in the low 50s, and highs in the Sierra could reach the mid 50s. The Sierra will likely see lingering snow showers in the morning.
