Aaron Rodgers’ Hail Mary TD Pass to Allen Lazard was the most ridiculous play of 2024

Aaron Rodgers still has some magic in his right arm.

Just before halftime on Monday night, Rodgers fired in a Hail Mary try as time expired in the first half. With eight seconds left, the four-time NFL MVP launched a 52-yard pass into a crowded end zone. Somehow his old receiver Allen Lazard came down with the ball.

Incredible.

The officials met after the play and ruled it a catch and a touchdown.

That’s the fourth time in Rodgers’ career he’s converted a Hail Mary. His final strike on the field gave the Jets life as they headed into the locker room as they cut a 20-10 deficit to 20-17.

In New York’s first game since firing Robert Saleh, the Jets show some life and compete in a close battle against the Bills. Rodgers finished the first half 13 of 17 for 192 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
