Adriana Lima makes her triumphant return to the Victoria’s Secret catwalk.

And it comes six years after announcing her retirement from the fashion brand following a 20-year partnership spanning 18 of the famed VS shows.

The model and the brand collaborated on a fun new video to announce their new collaboration, which was shared on the Victoria’s Secret Instagram page on Monday.

Dressed in a stylish dark suit, the clip shows Lima hailing a taxi in New York City, after which the driver asks, “Where?” just as she got into the backseat.

“Home,” Lima says, with a relaxed and satisfied look on her face, “I’m going home.” she added.

The longtime top model first signed with the VS brand in 1999 and went on to earn her wings to become a coveted VS Angel the following year through 2018.

Once in the backseat of the car, the taxi driver returns to the 43-year-old resident of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

“I don’t know where the hell you live,” the cab driver says to the old top model with not-so-subtle New York flair.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” she replied with a smile, looking slightly embarrassed. “Can you drop me off at the Victoria’s Secret show,” she replied back.

At this point a funky bass and drum-heavy song begins, just before Lima looks directly at the camera to proclaim, “I’m back.”

“Hey, we kept a secret, but we just can’t do it anymore!” the video’s caption reads.

Lima’s association with the lingerie and clothing retailer dates back to when she signed her first contract in 1999 and walked her first Victoria’s Secret show later that year.

After working hard on her body and walk while taking the time to familiarize herself with the brand, the Brazilian beauty was elevated to Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2000, a title given to models selected to represent the brand as face and voice.

Lima continued to collaborate with VS over the years until suddenly announcing her retirement from the brand in November 2018 after nearly two decades.

Just a year later, the fashion world was stunned when the annual USA Fashion Show, which started in 1995, was canceled amid criticism over its lack of body diversity allegations.

But finally, the famous show made its comeback in 2021 after a two-year hiatus with the launch of the VS Collective, which aims to push the brand more towards what women want.
