I won’t say the community, and I’m not mad about the ban because it’s not a community I frequent, but I just got this excuse for a ban. It seems crazy to me that AI is now being used to analyze and automatically moderate people on such vague and abusable grounds.

This isn’t meant to be a whiny-about-getting-banned post, I’ve just never seen this before, and it seems pretty worrying to me that this is going to become the norm. The internet used to feel free, now I have bots with moderator power scouring my post history looking for reasons to ban, based on arbitrary criteria.

We don’t even trust AI to check whether a text was written by AI, and yet we trust AI to do this?
