Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will be the polling place on Election Day

This November, Allegiant Stadium will host a different kind of game.

The home of the Las Vegas Raiders will serve as a voting location for Election Day, Nov. 5, the Nevada Secretary of State’s office announced Friday.

It is part of a partnership with the Raiders and NFL to encourage high attendance.

“This fall, the country will look to Nevada to decide who the next president is, and we need voters to participate,” Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar said in a statement. “We are pleased to partner with Clark County and the Las Vegas Raiders to open the doors of Allegiant Stadium, providing Nevadans with a unique voting experience this fall.”

Everyone who casts a vote at Allegiant Stadium will receive an exclusive “I VOTED” sticker featuring the outline of the stadium against the Las Vegas skyline.

“One of the goals of the Clark County Elections Department is to ensure that every eligible voter has access to the polls and what better way to do that than opening our largest location at Allegiant Stadium,” said Lorena Portillo, the Clark County Registrar of Voters.

Anyone registered to vote in Clark County can vote at the Allegiant Stadium Voting Center. Because all polling stations also serve as drop-off points for postal ballots, you can also drop off a postal ballot at the stadium polling station.

The NFL and Raiders have done that too a page on the team website encouraging people to learn more about voting and registration.
