Amazon is watching us – sort of.

The retail giant isn’t offering many great deals on Windows laptops, gaming laptops, or Chromebooks ahead of its Black Friday Week sale, which will last nine days from Thursday, November 21 through Friday, November 29 (also known as Black Friday). And as someone who’s been covering Amazon’s Prime and holiday events since 2019, I can tell you they probably won’t show up there until the sale officially starts. (Look for big discounts on Acer, Asus, LG and Microsoft models if that’s the case.)

In other words, early bird shoppers should keep their cool – except for those who need a new MacBook.

Amazon is currently offering some big discounts on Apple’s range of laptops, which are worth considering before the holiday season rolls around. Select configurations from the all-new M4 MacBook Pro series are already on sale for up to $150 off (which just launched last week), and the base configuration of the M2 MacBook Air – now with 16GB of RAM – has a new all-new -round hit achieved. time low of $749. It’s hard to see getting cheaper especially on Black Friday.

The 13-inch M2 Air is Mashable’s favorite budget MacBook, combining a “dreamy” keyboard and all-day battery life with “enough horsepower to handle everyday tasks with ease,” wrote Tech and Games reporter Alex Perry . (He gave it a rating of 4.6/5 in his review, which earned it a Mashable Choice Award.) As mentioned above, Apple just upgraded the base configuration from 8GB of memory to 16GB, raising its status as a fantastic value is confirmed – especially good now.

Amazon has it on sale for just $749 ahead of Black Friday, or $250 off the MSRP of $999. That’s a 25% savings and a new all-time low, matching the cheapest price the 8GB version saw. (The same deal was live at Best Buy on Thursday, November 14 for the paid tiers of the membership program; on Friday, November 15, the deal will be open to everyone there.)
