‘America’s Got Talent’ Winner Richard Goodall Reveals Future Plans After Show

Richard Goodall, winner of “America’s Got Talent,” always believed in himself.

Goodall was crowned the winner for singing his cover of Journey’s hit “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

The singing janitor told Fox News Digital he was able to cross off a major item from his “bucket list” as the band Journey joined him for his final performance.

“There’s a bucket list and there’s a bucket list at the top of the shelf that you never dreamed was there,” Goodall shared in disbelief. “I got to touch the top shelf of the bucket list.”

Goodall went on to say that he felt truly honored to be crowned the winner as he recently had some momentous events happen in his life, including getting married and taking home the million dollar cash prize.

“The sky is the limit. I had no expectations going into the auditions and the same went for the final. I just give it my all and leave it all on stage.”

While saying his wife is an “absolutely amazing woman” and his biggest supporter, Goodall also shared what his plans are for the future.

“The sky’s the limit,” he told Fox News Digital. “I had no expectations going into the auditions and the same thing going into the finals. I’m just going to give it my all and leave it all on stage.”

Goodall then proudly held up the “America’s Got Talent” card, which announced he was the winner of the popular competition.

Goodall plans to return to his janitor duties “for a while” and “America’s Got Talent” judge Heidi Klum predicted he will throw the “biggest welcome party” at the school where he works.

At the start of the season, Klum pressed the coveted Golden Buzzer for the Singing Janitor, which sends a contestant straight through to the live shows.

The German supermodel beamed with excitement as fans voted her Golden Buzzer contestant the winner of the popular competition.

“We won, we won!” Klum playfully told Fox News Digital.

“You hit the Golden Buzzer for someone you believe in… I believed in him. I fell in love with him right away,” she added. “He melted my little heart.”

“America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel praised Goodall for his big win.

“America never does it wrong. They did it right,” Mandel told Fox News Digital.

“It changes your life… Now he’s on stage on the biggest television show, the biggest stage in the world, playing with Journey. Not only does he feel great, but it makes you feel great when you’re watching.”

During his auditions, he explained that the kids at the school where he worked heard him sing and called him talented, which inspired him to join the show.
