There are some key indicators that the South is ready for the holidays. Pumpkin fields give way to Christmas tree farms, Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas the movie schedule is quietly taped to our refrigerators, holiday storage bins sneak their way into the living room (past and present, it seems), and Peppermint chip is coming back to Chick-fil-A.

This favorite holiday flavor is one that Chick-fil-A lovers look forward to every year: a perfect seasonal pick-me-up that pairs well with gift wrapping, festivals and holiday shopping. Starting November 18, guests can find the following limited-time items at Chick-fil-A locations:

• Peppermint Chip Milkshake: Chick-fil-A Icedream dessert with peppermint bark chip pieces

• Peppermint iced coffee: A refreshing seasonal variation on cold brew coffee with peppermint syrup and pure cane sugar syrup

• Peppermint Chip Frosted Coffee: A blend of cold brew coffee, peppermint syrup and Chick-fil-A Icedream dessert, mixed with peppermint bark chips

“This year, we’re excited to offer families more ways to spend time together, with a shared meal of classic menu favorites and quality moments of connection with family and friends during the holidays,” said Khalilah Cooper, vice president of brand strategy , advertising and media. “We hope to make this season a little brighter and more memorable for our guests, and create new reasons to gather and celebrate with loved ones.”

The Atlanta, Georgia-based fast food chain is also expanding their Christmas reach this year to include family-friendly entertainment. Their brand new original series, Legends of evergreen hillsis a five-part animated series that “follows 12-year-old Sam and her friends as they embark on an adventure to save the fantastic world of Evergreen Hills,” the brand announced in a press release. The first episode of the show will be available on YouTube, while the remaining four episodes will be released exclusively on the new Chick-fil-A Play app, also launching on November 18.

And for the hard-to-find person on your Christmas gift list (or that White Elephant gift you’re not so sure about), check out Chick-fil-A’s quirky line of holiday items, from Waffle Fry earrings to Chicken Sandwich string lights to matching sweaters with round neck.
