Ariana Grande would like to get a few things straight before she returns as host of ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend.

In a hilarious new promo video released Wednesday, the lyrics “Yes, And?” The singer tells a group of “SNL” cast members that she “would prefer not to do anything that has to do with ‘Wicked’ or ‘Wizard of Oz,'” referring to skits.

The camera then cut to “SNL” cast members Devon Walker, Michael Longfellow, Marcello Hernández and Andrew Dismukes, sitting on a couch across from Grande and dressed respectively as the Cowardly Lion, Dorothy, the Scarecrow and the Tin Man , all of ‘Wizard of Oz’ fame.

After a hilarious beat where Dismukes pondered Grande’s question, he responded, “Can we come back in an hour?” Without missing a comedic beat, the Grammy winner graciously replied, “Sure.”

Grande will, of course, star next month as Glinda in “Wicked,” the cinematic adaptation of the award-winning Broadway musical (and the novel on which it’s based).

She previously appeared on “SNL” as a musical guest in 2014 and 2024. In March 2016, she did dual roles as host and musical guest.

This week she is joined by musical guest Stevie Nicks.
