DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (CBS12) — Someone in Florida is walking around with a million dollars in his pocket after Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing.

While everything is bigger in Texas (someone winning the $800 million jackpot), a Florida resident managed to grab the second prize of $1 million, Florida Lottery officials said.

The winning Florida lottery ticket was sold at the Big Boss Store, a convenience store at 1739 U.S. Highway 331 South in Defuniak Springs, a city in the panhandle.

Tuesday night’s winning numbers were 1, 2, 16, 24 and 66, plus the golden Mega Ball: 06.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302.6 million. However, the odds of winning any Mega Millions prize are 1 in 24.
