Bashaw signs Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Curtis Bashaw of New Jersey has signed the ‘Moms for Liberty’ Parent Pledge ahead of next week’s finals of the 2024 elections.

“While I understand that some conservatives have questioned Mr. Bashaw’s position on certain issues, my focus today was on hearing his position on teaching gender ideology in schools, including sexually explicit material in schools, allowing of biological males in our girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms and sports – as these issues have a direct impact on our ability to provide a safe and prosperous environment for our children,” said Kristen Cobo Morris County, NJ Chapter President of the well-known parental rights group.

Cobo reported meeting with Bashaw on Wednesday to discuss his views on a variety of topics important to Moms for Liberty and the parents they represent.

“Mr. Bashaw not only enthusiastically expressed his support for the parenting rights movement, he agreed with all of the above issues and signed our Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge,” Cobo added. “We look forward to continuing these important conversations and working together to restore parental rights for the safety of our children.”

Bashaw is the underdog in the race to succeed disgraced former Sen. Bob Menendez, who was convicted earlier this year on federal corruption charges. The Democratic candidate is Andy Kim, incumbent congressman for New Jersey’s 3rd district.

Bashaw is a businessman and developer based in Cape May, New Jersey, who owns and operates iconic resort properties, including historic Congress Hall.
