Exclusive deal on an epic vacuum…

Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty System

I love my Shark vacuum. I’ve had it for over a year and it’s probably the best vacuum I’ve used. Well, Shark recently launched a new model (IP3251) and you can use our exclusive coupon code “TG150” to knock $150 off its price. This is the first time it’s on sale and it’s a product we 100% recommend. In our Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty Vacuum System review, we said the Editor’s Choice vacuum makes it incredibly convenient to quickly tidy up around the house, and its dual-brushroll design and powerful suction are able to tackle all sorts of debris. Yes, it’s a little bulky when compared to other lightweight models, and its sensors require regular maintenance to keep them working properly, but we love the vacuum’s performance across different floor types and that it picks up debris both on the forward and backward pass. By comparison, Best Buy has it for $499 and Amazon is sold out.

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Deals editor Louis here taking over our Black Friday deals live blog for the rest of today. I’m not a PC gamer (the last PC game I played was probably Quake II), but Tom’s Guide news editor Alyse Stanley is and she’s been tracking some of the best PC gaming deals all month. She recently put together a roundup of the best deals happening at Dell. (You can read her Dell Black Friday deals guide here). It’s got monitors, laptops, desktops, and everything in between.

But if you want a bigger display, you can currently get the 15-inch MacBook Air M3 for $999 at Amazon. Our MacBook Air 15-inch review also noted that it had incredible 15-hour battery life. If you want this laptop, remember to click the on-page coupon before you head to the checkout.

The best video doorbell is on sale for Black Friday. Right now you can get the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus for $99 at Amazon. We love this model for its sharp video quality, head-to-toe video and ease of use. You don’t get local video storage or package detection, but otherwise, this is a great buy.

New price drop…

Blink Whole Home Bundle

Hey, everyone! Deals editor Louis here with a quick update on today’s best sales. So I’ve been waiting for this deal all month. Not because I’m planning on buying it, but because it was a hit during Prime Day. This bundle includes the Blink Outdoor 4 camera, which earned our Editor’s Choice award and is one of the best home security cameras we’ve tested. It also features a Mini 2 camera with Alexa integration. Combined with the included video doorbell, this bundle is great for keeping an eye on the surroundings of your home. It was on sale most of this month for $139, which ain’t a bad deal — but I knew it would drop further in price and here we are. It’s now at its lowest price ever!

LG B4 OLED with black friday tag

Here’s another super-cheap OLED TV deal. Right now you can get the 55-inch LG B3 OLED for $798 at Walmart. While this is an older model, it’s a total steal after a discount of this size. In our LG B3 OLED TV review we called it amazing value and praised its colorful picture and excellent smart interface. Gamers will also appreciate its low lag time.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max

Amazon’s 4K streamer has crashed to a new all-time low price ahead of Black Friday. In our Fire TV Stick 4K review, we liked its sharp video quality and affordable price. There’s a lot of advertising to contend with in the Fire TV streaming interface, but if you don’t mind that, this is a solid buy.

Blueair Pure 311i+ Max

The air quality in the New York/tri-state area has been pretty bad this past month. There have been various brushfires throughout the region and two weekends ago it was so bad you could actually smell smoke in the air. Last year I got the Blueair Blue Pure 311i Max and I absolutely love having it in our living room. It’s designed for medium rooms and can clean a 1,858 sq. ft. room in an hour. It features a HEPA filter and can remove at least 99.97% of tiny airborne particles like viruses and smoke down to 0.1 microns. If you suffer from allergies, it also captures pet dander, pollen, mold, allergen, and dust. Note that the Blue Pure 211+ is also on sale for $271 and our homes editor Cynthia Lawrence named it one of the best air purifiers she’s tested.

A must if you work from home…

Steelcase Solo desk show in home office

My wife and I both worth from home and we both have standing desks. She uses the Steelcase Solo Sit-to-Stand Desk, which is sturdy, stylish, and highly customizable. To be honest, I sometimes get a little envious of her desk because it just looks awesome with its black base and Ash Noce laminate finish. Right now Steelcase is taking up to 25% off sitewide as part of its Black Friday sale. The sale includes the Steelcase Solo Sit-to-Stand Desk now on sale for $764 (was $849). It’s an epic price drop for such a solidly built standing desk. (Note: The sale also includes chairs, stools, and other accessories).

All-Clad Amazon Deals

Are you in the market for some high-quality cookware? My colleague Olivia Halevy has a recommendation for you! She’s been testing out the All-Clad Nonstick Cookware Set and she’s a huge fan of the pots and pans that do not stick. Even better? The 13-piece set is currently $320 off at Amazon. Plus, dozens of other All-Clad cookware and bakeware pieces are now up to 52% off.

Microsoft Surface Pro Copilot+ PC

Microsoft’s Surface Pro Copilot+ PC just got an epic price cut. You can get the Surface Pro for just $899 right now. The 2-in-1 features a Snapdragon X Plus CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD. You also get a 12-inch 2880 x 1920 PixelSense LCD along with an epic 14-hour battery life. In our Microsoft Surface Pro 11 review our computing writer Tony Polanco said it’s the best version of Microsoft’s 2-in-1 we’ve seen in years. If you can spend a little more on the upgraded configuration, you’ll get an amazing OLED screen and more powerful Snapdragon X Elite CPU. (Personally, I would get the $1,199 model for that gorgeous OLED screen and more CPU power).

Roku TV

Here’s a personal TV recommendation. My mom has the 50-inch Roku Select 4K TV in her living room and I think it’s an amazing TV. Colors are bright, sound is excellent, and it has Roku’s amazing operating system baked right in. It’s such an awesome TV that I have the smaller 32-inch 1080p model in my bedroom. Generally speaking, I would never recommend a 1080p TV these days (since 4K TVs are so affordable), but if your space requires a 32-incher, the Roku is a solid option.

If you want even better picture quality, there’s also the Roku QLED series (also on sale) and the Roku Pro series (also on sale). The Pro series adds Mini-LED technology for richer blacks and stronger contrast. If you’re on a budget or not super fussy about picture quality — the Select series is awesome.

Here are the sales I’m watching this week…

Black Friday live blog 2

G’morning, everyone! Deals editor Louis here back for another week of deals. So Thanksgiving is next week and things are getting busier than ever. There are Black Friday deals happening at practically every retailer and there’s two big events I’m eyeing this week. On Thursday (November 21), both Amazon and Best Buy are going to launch their respective “official” Black Friday deals. Both retailers have been offering Black Friday sales since October, so what’s really changing is that whatever isn’t on sale now, will likely go on sale on Thursday. We’ll be watching and highlighting any new deals from all retailers as they’re released this week. (If you’re wondering about Walmart, their next big deals drop is next Monday on November 25).

Black Friday Ring deals

You know it’s Black Friday when Ring deals come around! Right now the new Ring Battery Doorbell is on sale for a great price of just $59. We rank it as the best video doorbell under $100, and we love its sharp 1080p video that records guests head-to-toe.

Apple 13-inch iPad Air 2024 shown outside on a table

The best tablet is on sale for an excellent discount ahead of Black Friday. The iPad Air M2 is a solid all-around slate that delivers snappy performance thanks to Apple’s M2 chip, as well as long 11-hour battery life. You can also add the Magic Keyboard and/or the Apple Pencil to make this tablet into a laptop replacement, but these are sold separately.

Building meets building

A child building the LEGO Minecraft set

LEGO and Minecraft have brought the building video game to the beloved plastic building bricks. Right now, you can get an awesome diamond sword Minecraft LEGO set from Walmart for $30, which is $15 off the regular price. It has a giant version of the iconic sword that looks fun to build, plus plenty of miniature figures.

Any Minecraft fan will love this for a holiday gift. Or, if you’re a Minecraft fan, you can snag it for yourself while it’s on sale. In fact, I bought this for my seven-year-old stepson, who can’t get enough of both the video game and building LEGO. I’ll report his thoughts once he receives it on Christmas day.

A $599 OLED? Yes please!

OLED TVs are typically a lot more expensive than other types of displays. Even going down to a smaller size will cost a pretty penny compared to an LED or other more affordable screen technology. So when I saw that Best Buy had a 48″ LG OLED for $599, I had to do a double take to ensure it was real. It’s definitely real, and it’s the right price.

You can read our LG B4 review to better understand what this TV brings to the table, but we called it the “value OLED TV of the year” while giving it a solid four out of five rating. This is an early Black Friday deal that isn’t to be missed by anyone in the marker for a TV with next-level picture quality at a good price.

Black Friday is the best time of year to get video games at a considerable discount. Not only can you pick up games from the previous year for dirt cheap, but you can also get new releases with significant price drops. Amazon has already started rolling out some video game deals on games released in the last few months, and we will continue to monitor them to catch other deals as they drop. To kick it off, you can snag the latest game in the long-running Madden football series. Our Madden 25 review said the game restored our love for the annual football franchise.

Is this an Amazon pricing error…?!

MacBook Air shown on desk

I highlighted this deal in our Apple Black Friday deals live blog and I think it merits a shout out here too. Why? Well, because it’s one of my favorite Apple deals right now. (Especially if you’re a student or a little tight on cash). So long story short, Amazon is selling the MacBook Air M2 (8GB RAM) and the MacBook Air M2 (16GB RAM) for $749 each. The 8GB model crashed to $649 earlier, so while it sounds like a good deal — it’s been cheaper before. The deal I would get is this one: the 16GB RAM model for $749. That 16GB of RAM will help future-proof your Mac and makes this a killer deal. It’s also the cheapest price I’ve seen for the upgraded 16GB model. Is this a pricing error on Amazon’s part? I honestly have no clue, but I’d jump on this deal fast before its price goes back up!

Two female models wearing Lululemon apparel

Mark your calendars! I own a fair amount of Lululemon apparel and I just got a newsletter e-mail from the company announcing an “Early Access Black Friday Members Event” happening on November 21. Lululemon doesn’t do sales, but they do have a section on their website called “We Made Too Much” where they discount apparel/items that they have too much stock of. The November 21st event is for members only (it’s free to join at Lululemon) and exclusive to the app, but what I’m saying is you don’t have to wait till then because they just restocked their We Made Too Much section. I personally plan on getting another pair of Pace Breaker Shorts for $39 because I love the ones I currently use for the gym.

Tom’s Guide is home to a lot of runners (myself included) and if you’re lacing up in search of a new PR, you could do a lot worse than Hoka. I’m personally an Asics kinda guy, but our fitness expert and marathon runner Nick Harris-Fry has some thoughts on the best Hoka discounts you can shop now.

“Hoka makes some of the best running shoes available, and the Black Friday deals this year actually include one of my favorite new shoes of 2024,” he wrote in his Hoka Black Friday deals roundup. Below are a few standouts worth checking out.

Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen)

It wouldn’t be Black Friday without a proper Amazon device sale and right now Amazon has its collection of Alexa-powered devices on sale from $19. Yes, you can find Amazon devices on sale on any major holiday, but Prime Day and Black Friday are the holidays when you’ll find the cheapest prices. (Black Friday usually beats Prime Day by a few bucks, from what I’ve seen in previous years). Just a heads up that not all devices are on sale. I expect more Ring devices to go on sale in the coming days, for example. Otherwise, now’s a great time to replace that aging Echo speaker! (In fact, I may replace my own Echo, too).

Woman holding the Galaxy Z Flip 6

Let me start by saying I’m team iPhone. I’ve owned one since the iPhone 6s. (!!) That said, I watch a lot of K-dramas (you need to stream Gyeongseong Creature) and I admit that I get a little phone envy when I see characters pull out their Galaxy phones. So if I were to switch — I think I’d go Samsung Galaxy. Right now, Samsung is slashing up to $1,575 off all Galaxy phones with trade-in. Naturally, you’ll get a juicier discount with trade-in, but even if you don’t have an old phone to trade, you can still score a sweet discount. While you’re at it, check out our Samsung Black Friday deals roundup written by deals editor extraordinaire, Millie Davis-Williams.

My favorite bed is on sale…

Nectar Premier Hybrid mattress

It’s been well over a year since I wrote our Nectar Premier Hybrid mattress review and you know what — I still love this bed. It’s a hybrid bed, which means it’s made of both memory foam and coils. I personally love it because it gives me the cradling/soft sensation of a memory foam bed, but without that sinking sensation (thank you, coils). I sleep on my back and side a lot and I find this bed to be super comfortable for those positions. It’s also great at isolating motion (my partner doesn’t feel when I get up from bed in the middle of the night).

Stomach sleepers may want to look elsewhere as I didn’t find it too comfortable for that. I was also a tad disappointed that the sides/corners of the mattress tend to sink in. (Keep in mind I’m 6’3″ and weigh 245 lbs….ok, 250 lbs. after getting married last month). BUT those very minor gripes aside, this is as perfect of a bed as it gets!

The least-expensive OLED TV deal of 2024 is….

The LG B4 displaying a colorful, abstract image and the words

Last year Best Buy had the LG A2 OLED on sale for $549. Till this day — it’s the least-expensive OLED TV deal I’ve ever seen. That TV no longer exists and LG’s new (2024) B4 OLED is currently their entry-level model. Right now, Best Buy is selling the 48-inch model for just $599. That’s the cheapest price I’ve ever seen for this OLED all year. In fact, it’s the cheapest OLED TV I’ve seen since that A2 deal from last year.

Is it a good TV? Our TV reviewer Ryan Epps says it’s a “slam-dunk pick” if you’re shopping for an OLED TV on a budget, although there are some things you should know. The 48-inch model is a Best Buy exclusive; otherwise, Amazon has the 65″ on sale for $1,296 (as well as other sizes).

Unboxed Mac mini M4

G’morning, all! Deals editor Louis here taking over the live blog for the next few hours. So this month I’m planning on buying a Mac mini M4. (Or maybe an iMac M4….I’m still deciding). It’s gonna replace my aging Intel-based 27″ iMac 5K (2015). That said, I can’t believe there’s already a decent sale on the Mac mini M4. I say that because we just published our Mac mini M4 review a week or so ago and Amazon’s already knocked $50 off the base model.

This is a great chance to snag one with a tidy launch discount, and as you can read in our review it’s worth the price thanks to this silver little box’s remarkable speed. Just make sure to bring your own monitor, keyboard, and mouse as this pint-sized powerhouse doesn’t come with one.

With so many things on sale, we’re highlighting the best of the best — the items we’d buy with our own money. We’ll also spotlight devices we think represent a great value. After all, who doesn’t like to get the most for their dollar. That said, let’s get onto the day’s best deals…
