Big temperature drop to start the work week

CLEVELAND – A few storm chances will remain in our far southeastern communities before the end of this evening. Otherwise, look for a breezy and cooler night. Lows will drop into the lower 50s and upper 40s.

It will be much more fall-like to start the work week as highs dip into the lower 60s to start the week. A small amount of rain is possible on Monday and Tuesday as Lake Effect rain will be possible as the cooler air moves in. Most of the week looks to be dry.

Once we end the work week next weekend, temperatures will climb into the 70s along with a rain shower late Sunday.

What to expect:

  • Rain chances will decrease tonight
  • Breezy and cool tonight
  • It will be MUCH cooler next week
  • The trend for much of October to look dry

Daily distribution:

Monday: Much cooler. Stray shower.| High: 62º

Tuesday: Below average. It will be mostly dry, with some lake-effect showers in the northeast. | High: 62º

Wednesday: Dry and cool. | High: 62º

Thursday: Mostly sunny. | High: 64º

Friday: Mostly sunny. Warmer. | High: 70º
