Bill Clinton: Bill Clinton says Trump’s cabinet is about loyalty ‘regardless of who gets hurt’

Bill Clinton Says Trump's Cabinet Is About Loyalty 'No Matter Who Gets Hurt'
Bill Clinton said he is not surprised by Trump’s choice for the new cabinet.

In an interview with MSNBC about his memoir “Citizen: My life after the White House,” former president Bill Clinton said Donald Trump’s cabinet choices are all about loyalty to him, he doesn’t care who gets hurt. “We have to listen to Donald Trump. He has been very outspoken about the use of the law. He is interested in people who are loyal to him 100% of the time, no matter the issue, no matter the facts, no matter who gets hurt,” the Democrat told Jonathan Capehart.
The 78-year-old Clinton said Trump wants people who will just say yes – more than anything.” “Second, he believes his supporters have no faith in the federal government. And God knows he has done everything he can to destroy that trust. And he believes he can just say, ‘I’ve appointed these smart people and they’ll shake things up.’
“By demonizing all established institutions and all people who wear a tie – like you and me, to work – and have a good education, we delegitimize not only people who in the past may have been too hypocritical and too were determined in their ways. but also people who actually know things that are very important to us today and very important to our continued growth, prosperity and harmony,” Clinton said.
Bill Clinton also spoke out in his book about allegations that his staff damaged the West Wing prior to his departure from the White House in 2001, out of contempt for then-president George W. Bush. He opened up that he was unaware of the disaster. “The whole thing bothered me because I made it clear that I wanted a smooth, cooperative transition, and that’s exactly what we did,” he wrote.
“Within a few days, some people finally said that no harm had occurred or that the accusations of ‘W’ evil had been greatly exaggerated.”
China, silverware and salt and pepper shakers were among the items reportedly missing.
