Billie Eilish fans camp out at the CHI Health Center before the concert

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – If you saw a row of tents near the CHI Health Center Arena, it wasn’t a homeless camp as some thought.

They are Billie Eilish fans, who want to get as close as possible to the singer-songwriter for Sunday’s concert.

A video shows the stampede that took place just before the line opened.

Those granted general admission camped out early to receive a numbered wristband that determines the order in which they are allowed to enter the arena.

After the chaos, security turned everyone back and brought out the tenters, some of whom had been there since Thursday.

“We slept here every night and rushed out the door when we needed food. We had a little bit of numbered bands, these are the ones we started with,” said fan Chloe Walls. These are the ones we created for this line. And then these are the ones we just got from the location. These are the official ones.”

Walls and her friend secured fifth and sixth spots for the sold-out concert.
