Black Ops 6′ will launch in every time zone on PC, Xbox and PlayStation

Call of Duty: Black Ops6 is just around the corner and gamers can boot up the game in just a few hours and try out the single-player campaign, round-based Zombies mode and multiplayer. Depending on your region and platform of choice, the game will launch at different times. Read on to find out when exactly you can get boots on the ground.

BlackOps6 launches with a campaign set during the early ’90s Gulf War, the first round-based Zombies mode in years and 16 brand new multiplayer maps, with an old favorite returning just days after launch in the form of the original Nuketown -card. The free to play War zone integrates with BlackOps6 mid-November, with a brand new Resurgence card joining the rotation and all BlackOps6 weapons and the exciting ‘Omnimovement’ system.

For Xbox Game Pass subscribers: BlackOps6 will be free to play, although you can still spend money on in-game purchases, including the Battle Pass launching in Season 1.

This is when you can play the main game on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox and PlayStation.

Black Ops 6 PC launch time

BlackOps6 launches on PC at 9pm PT on Thursday, October 24. This means the game will go live at the following times, based on your time zone on Steam and Battle.net:

  • 9pm PDT on October 24th off the west coast of North America
  • 12pm EDT on October 25 off the east coast of North America
  • 5am BST on October 25 for Great Britain
  • 6am CEST on October 25 for Western Europe/Paris
  • 1:00 PM JST on October 25 for Tokyo

Microsoft Store players will follow the same release schedule as console players.

Black Ops 6 Launch Time for Xbox and PlayStation

For console players, the calculation is a little easier. Basically, BlackOps6 goes live on the Microsoft Store, Xbox and PlayStation midnight local time on Friday, October 25.

This means that you can theoretically switch regions in-game and unlock the game early, although this always comes with the risk of compromising your account as this is technically against the terms of service. However, players do this every year, and I’ve never seen anyone get in trouble. Thanks to the so-called ‘New Zealand trick’, players in later regions can start playing much earlier. Midnight in New Zealand on the 25th is 4am PT on the 24th. Players who choose this path do so at their own risk.
