Christian music stars can’t wait for their upcoming movie

Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham shared their excitement about their upcoming documentary/concert experience, FOR THE ONE.

“I have a very exciting announcement. If you haven’t heard yet, but also just some more information about a really cool project that me and some friends have started. It’s coming out very soon, and so (I’m) really excited. If you’ve seen the title then you know it’s FOR THE ONE, the movie, and I’m so excited and so are some of my friends who are a part of this movie to talk about it,” Lake shared with his fans.

“This thing we’ve been talking about for months, about a year now – a year ago it felt like a pipe dream, and then we just got the right people involved who worked hard to make this thing a reality,” Wickham added to it. “This documentary about FOR THE ONE will be released in about a week and a half. It’s crazy.”

FOR THE ONE is a concert experience and a behind-the-scenes look at the work that worship leaders like Lake and Wickham have done to make their tours possible. It reveals the fun and hard times the couple has faced during their tour together, and they ultimately hope it helps audiences find the Lord.

“This documentary is for those we worship, but also for those in the theaters who need to hear the Gospel; that God so loved the world,” Wickham said. “It really just feels like an extension of what we do, you know: preach the gospel, talk about Jesus, sing songs and lead people in worship.”

“What they bring to an evening stadium is really exciting. Hopefully we’ve captured it on film in a way that will be a very satisfying experience for people. I believe that will be the case,” producer Ken Carpenter told Movieguide®. “And the film actually – I don’t know if this is the right term to use – but there is a bromance and the film, among other things, pushes on that and reveals that and shows that there really is something special. with how God brought these two boys together.

FOR THE ONE can be seen in cinemas from October 27 to 29.
