    After overcoming a minor injury to lead her team to another victory, rookie Caitlin Clark and her team Indiana Fever won’t have much time to rest as they head home for their next game.

    The Fever (14-16) significantly improved their chances of making the playoffs with an 84-79 win in Atlanta on Monday night, cementing their seventh-place finish and keeping the Dream out of the way.

    Clark sat out part of the first quarter after spraining her ankle, but returned and led her team to victory.

    The next game, however, is a lot tougher: against the strong Connecticut Sun (22-7), led by Alyssa Thomas, a five-time WNBA All-Star and runner-up in the MVP voting last season.

She now has 85 made 3-pointers in her rookie season, tying Dream guard and 2022 first overall pick Rhyne Howard for the most 3-pointers by a rookie.
