    After months of pre-orders, the official release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is finally here.

    The new edition promises an action-packed storyline, new and returning characters and advanced weapons. Set in 1991, the action-spy thriller is the latest edition and twenty-first installment of the Call of Duty series.

    Ahead of the big launch, Call of Duty has been counting down the days on its official Instagram account, showcasing the game’s sharp, realistic graphics.

    Black Ops 6 release date

    Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.

    The game will also be available on release day to players with an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

    How to play Black Ops 6 early

    Players were able to access the game as early as 5am MT / 6am CT on Thursday, October 24, with a popular workaround, according to gaming website GameRant.

    How much does Call of Duty Black Ops 6 cost?

    The Cross-Gen Bundle costs $69.99 plus tax, while the Vault Edition costs $99.99 plus tax.

    The Cross-Gen Standard Edition is available for PS, Xbox, Battle.net, Windows, Steam and Game Pass.

    The Vault Edition has a number of extras, including a Hunters vs. Hunters Operator Pack, Mastercraft Weapon Collection and a GobbleGum Pack for Zombies. That version is available for PS, Xbox, Battle.net, Windows and Steam.
